Reliable radio sensor
Installing a magnetic contact sensor (for window and door opening)
on windows or doors is the simplest and the most reliable way to receive information about unauthorized access to the guarded facility.
RDD1, RDD2 and RDD3 magnetic contact radio sensors produced
by the Ritm Company operate via a radio channel, which allows to reduce the number of wires.
The sensors work at a frequency of 433 MHz and are fully compatible with the wireless system of the RDK receiver
and control panels of the Ritm Company:
- Contact GSM-14
- Contact-15
- Contact GSM-16
- Contact GSM-10 and Contact GSM-10A
You can also use them with other wireless sensors to create
a security system: you do not have to wire and hide loops and you can deploy more objects with the same efforts.
Appropriate size
Small size of these sensors differentiate them from majority commercially available wireless "reed relays".
RDD radio sensors are produced in three sizes:
- The RDD3 is a miniature sensor. It operates from the CR-2032 battery. Ideal for installation on rarely used reinforced plastic doors and windows. The sensor is not equiped with external indication and it is invisible on white surfaces; furthermore
it is unnecessarily to change the battery frequently. - The RDD2 is a medium-sized sensor. It ideally suits for installation on high-traffic reinforced plastic doors. Unlike
the RDD3 it operates from the AA type battery which increases its standalone operation time. - The RDD1 is a regular-sized sensor with the maximum communication range. It operates from the AA type battery.

Wide communication range
Depending on configurations magnetic contact sensors operate within 600 / 1968 (RDD2, RDD3) or 1200 / 3937 (RDD1) meters / feet from the control panel (open space).
This ensures that even the farthest window of your cottage or door
of your office is within the signal coverage.
By monitoring the connection between the signaling device
and the panel the guard service company is immediatly notified about faults of the signalling device.
Standalone operation
You always know when it is time to change the battery!
The magnetic contact radio sensors send a low battery notification
to the receiving device (control panel) which transfers it to the monitoring software of the guard service company or to the property owner.
Furthermore the RDD1 and RDD2 also present that information via visual indication so you always know when it is time to change
the battery.
The radio sensors are powered by replaceable batteries of common sizes (AA and CR2032) which means that you have no difficulty changing them.
Extra features
By tamper features you immediately know about any attempts to break down the sensor or remove it from the surface it is attached to. Control panels conduct periodical status scans of all sensors in the radio system; if a sensor is broken or faulty, you know about it immediatly.
A wire-based security sensor can be connected to RDD2 and RDD1 sensors through an additional alarm loop.
For instance to control state of an additional window sash or a secondary entrance door.
If there are two entrance doors (inner metal door and external wooden one) install a wireless sensor to monitor the inner door and use a wire-based magnetic contact sensor to monitor the external door. In the event of penetration attempt while the perpetrators try to force the metal door the control panel sends a message to the guard service company or to the police.
